Sunday lunch - kids under 12 dine free

No matter how small your Christmas tree was the room always looks so bare when its gone. Now that the decorations are finally gone we are in need of cheering up, good food always helps and we’re not talking about the leftover tins of Roses or Quality Street.  The Sunday Lunch service at the Ryan Room has become very popular with families since its introduction last November. For the months of January and February  we kids under twelve dine for free. This great new years offer applies to children ordering from the kids menu and is limited to one child per adult. Preparations are well under way for the 2017 Corrib Oil Galway International Rally, which takes place from the 3rd to the 5th of February. Galway Motor Club’s Kieran Donohue, from Headford, is once again Clerk of the Course. He and his dedicated team have laid on a challenging route, based in the Athenry area on Saturday 4th February, and Tuam on Sunday 5th February. Kieran has selected some stages not used for many years in addition to old favorites from more recent years events. These are sure to test the drivers to their limits over the two days! www.galwayrally.com

connacht rugby 

This Saturday sees Connacht take on Zebre in a must win game in the Sportsground. Much like Leicester City after an incredible season league form hasn’t been what it was last year but the European journey has been fantastic. Despite being injury ravaged Conaacht go into this game strong favourites. Connacht need to put up a good score against the Italians, to set themselves up with a chance going into the last weekend of the group stages. www.connachtrugby.ie
