Afternoon tea has come a long way its creation in the 1800s, when it was invented by as a meal to stave off hunger before dinner. You certainly won’t go hungry as you tuck into our homemade scones with fresh cream and jams. The Connacht Hotel Afternoon Tea also features gourmet finger sandwiches, a selection of miniature cakes all served with tea and coffee. Served between 1:30 pm - 4:30pm.

Afternoon tea is a great way for friends or family to get together and mark special occasions, from birthdays, to engagements, to baby showers and everything in between. If you are in celebratory mood why not add a cocktail, a glass of bubbly or wine.
