The Ryan Room
Make your next special occasion stand out like no other by hosting it at The Ryan Room.
This large private events space would be perfect for all manner of fabulous once-in-a-lifetime events, such as wedding day twos, important anniversaries, or all manner of life celebrations.
Bright, spacious, and well-lit (thanks to the large windows that allow in plenty of natural light), it is certainly our showpiece events space. Plus, it's three-metre-high ceiling helps to create a sense of the dramatic.
What's more, the adjacent, light-filled glass corridor can be used for an arrival drinks reception or as a break-out area.
With full bar facilities, dance floor, staging, podium, surround sound, microphones, and a large drop-down screen, the Ryan Room is a gem in our crown that was created with celebrations very much in mind.
Bar Solo
Looking for a casual and relaxed vibe for your special occasion in Galway City? The Connacht Hotel’s Bar Solo will definitely tick lots of your boxes.
Beautifully designed with eye-catching décor such as botanical-inspired touches, tasteful amber lighting, and plush furniture, this semi-private area is a truly welcoming and warm space.
It’s easy to imagine how you’ll mingle by the bar with your family, friends, and invitees as you all make the most of the special occasion. In fact, the bar is stocked full of incredible drinks – and our mixologists are always on hand to craft amazing libations you won’t forget in a hurry.
Finger food menu options are available, and there is typically live music at the weekends and throughout the holidays.

The gorgeous Rebecca and Natasha answered my every query (and I had many) without any delay and were always checking in with me to see if I was ok with the plans etc. On the night itself the fabulous Bridget, Meda and team looked after our every whim, they were constantly at our side to cater my every need & ensure we were happy with everything.
