Goodman Medical are holding a careers/recruitment afternoon in The Connacht Hotel, Galway, on the 24th November from 3pm - 6.30pm. The afternoon will contain insight from in-house Engineers/Technicians/Team leaders and other professionals who will provide candidates with information into working in Goodman Medical Ireland. They currently have a number of open positions - Production Operators, Process Technician, Quality Technician, Production Line Leader and Trainers etc. This is a fantastic opportunity to speak with industry professionals and present your skills/experience to the HR team. Galway at christmas
Galway city is looking amazing at the moment, the Christmas Market and decorations around the city are nothing short of stunning. Another Christmas favourite has just kicked off in Galway. Elf Town Galway is a one-of-a-kind Santa experience that is open in Galway this Christmas season. It is located in the old Connacht Tribune Print Works on Market St. in Galway City. This central venue is just off Shop Street and a couple of minutes’ walk from Eyre Square. Elf Town is open from November 20th - December 24th. Your visit will take the form of a theatrical storytelling experience with your favourite Christmas characters, including a snow princess, lots of mischievous elves, Mrs Claus and of course, a visit to Santa Claus himself.
Rugby
This Friday night see’s the return of Pro12 Rugby to Galway. After a slow start to the season Pat Lam’s men are hitting form again. With so many players featuring for Ireland in the Autumn Internationals confidence will be high in the squad. Connacht have already been defeated by the other three Welsh regions this season so they won't underestimate the challenge of the visitors.
