I arrived late on Wednesday evening, around 11:45 and after a long day and 3 hour drive I was first greeted by a friendly receptionist. It's a big hotel and my tired brain had misunderstood the directions to my room, found myself in the bar, I asked the barstaff which way I should go, one of the barman did not just show me where to go but took my case from me, asked me to follow him and brought it to my room. He didn't need to do this, they were clearing up getting ready to go home. This summed up the staff that I met over my 3 days, friendly, down to earth and genuine. I used the hotel as a base for an event I was in Galway for so I didn't spend a huge amount of time there, but when I did, it was the friendliness of the staff that would make me consider coming back?
