Galway’s St. Patrick’s Festival 2025 will be the city’s biggest celebration yet, running from March 15th to 17th.
The highlight, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, kicks off at 11:30am on March 17th, following its 2019 route through the city. Across the weekend, Eyre Square will host family-friendly entertainment, a vintage carousel, amusements, and live traditional music.
The Town Hall Theatre will screen Galway-focused documentaries, while Salthill’s Leisureland and Curry’s Funpark offer a Family Fun Day packed with activities.
The Tribesmen Head of the River rowing event returns to the Corrib on March 15th, and at night, the city will glow green with stunning light displays. Led by a grand marshal, the parade will feature Macnas’ theatrical spectacle alongside Galway’s cultural and sporting groups. With music, colour, and tradition filling the streets, Galway is the place to be this St. Patrick’s Day!
