There are few things more deliciously indulgent that an afternoon tea, and now your little ones can join in with the fun, too with our Family Afternoon Tea at the Connacht Hotel. This is a truly family-friendly afternoon tea  in relaxed surroundings with warm and attentive service. Perfect to mark a special occasion or to gather with friends and family.

Family Afternoon Tea

The Connacht Hotel Family Afternoon Tea features homemade scones with fresh cream and jams. The savoury selection on offer includes smoked salmon and cream cheese, on our homemade Guinness bread, smoked chicken with mayonaise and sun-dreid tomatoes on farmhouse white and ham and mature cheddar cheese and tomato relish sliders served warm on a brioche bun.

As well as children’s favourites to include kids pop chicken goujon skewers and ham and cheese finger sandwiches.

Plus a selection of homemade miniature treats and mini-desserts to keep the kids happy.  In place of the usual tea and coffee, there will be a delicious hot chocolate or babyccinos for the kids to enjoy.

Festive Afternoon Tea

This Christmas get-together with friends and family and indulge in a Festive Afternoon Tea.

We've added a Festive Twist to our Classic Afternoon Tea with Mince Pies, Freshly Baked Scones, Gourmet Finger Sandwiches, a Selection of Festive Miniature Cakes all served with tea and coffee.

Afternoon tea is a great way for friends or family to get together and mark special occasions or even to just take a break from Christmas Shopping in Galway. If you are in festive mood why not add a cocktail, a glass of bubbly or wine.
