We live in such a busy and stressful time that everything is faster nowadays even our food. Sometimes it's nice to slow down in a relaxed atmosphere and enjoy great food and fantastic service. Sunday lunch is one of the few times in the week that the whole family can come together and enjoy some quality time.

Here at The Connacht Hotel we have launched our new Sunday lunch service in The Ryan Room; our newly developed multi-function room, which will host the weekly luncheon amongst a variety of other events. Head Chef Eddy Guegano prides himself on using locally sourced and seasonal products. You can try his succulent Roast Leg of Connemara LambRoast Rib of Irish Angus Beef with all the trimmings or his famous creamy Galway Bay Seafood Chowder. One of the most popular starters is the classic Kelly’s of Newport Black Pudding with Poached Pear and Red Onion Marmalade. The vegetarian options are changed weekly with delicious options such as a tasty Courgette and Aubergine Gratin available. You can choose from an array of home made desserts from Rich Chocolate Truffle Gateau to Apple Pie and Ice Cream. Each week will see a new Sunday lunch menu to ensure that you are always spoilt for choice.

The Ryan Room has a maximum capacity of 180 people and is ideal for private parties. With its own private entrance, bar and restroom it is totally self contained. We are very excited to showcase our excellent service and food during the new Sunday lunches. We hope to help create new family traditions each Sunday from 12pm - 4pm, with kids' entertainment provided every Sunday 1pm-4pm. Our Friendly Fellows team are on hand every week to entertain the younger diners. Young children can join the Friendly Fellows for face-painting, colouring and plenty of fun games and activities, so the whole family can enjoy the afternoon.
