Offset Your Ecological Impact

Ecological Impact offset is a way to compensate for your emissions by funding an equivalent ecological saving elsewhere.

Here at The Connacht Hotel, we are passionate about reducing our environmental impact. With this in mind we have made some significant changes over the last few years. More detail can be found on our Green Policy page.

We are now encouraging our guests to help us by making a voluntary donation to offset the ecological impact of your stay. We are all responsible for climate change and we all must be part of the solution.

Based on our calculations the average guest generates 2.66KG of CO2, a fully grown tree would offset 21KG per annum. Every voluntary donation we get will go directly towards planting indigenous trees to help reduce our environmental impact.

By booking a corporate stay with us or by booking one of our meeting rooms we will make this donation on your behalf, this is part of our commitment to becoming more sustainable and reducing our ecological impact together.
