Connemara Green Festival

This is the 5th year of the Connemara Green Festival and each year it continues to grow and expand. The main aim of the festival is to raise awareness of the unique ecology of Connemara and raise funds for biodiversity projects and conservation of our local environment.
The festival will take place from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 October 2019 and is based in Letterfrack village, Connemara, at the foot of Diamond Hill and the Connemara National Park and along the Wild Atlantic Way. The weekend includes children’s weaving willow workshops, walks with local ecologists and historians, nature & craft workshops, a visit to the community garden, learning about local fauna and flora, outdoor activities, farm, tree and archaeology walks in the Connemara National Park, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and boat trips in Letterfrack Bay. All ages are welcome!
