    Whenever I am in Galway I stay at the Connacht. The staff are so helpful and friendly it makes my visit a pleasure. The availability of a swim and sauna after a hard day's business is so relaxing there isn't another hotel like it. For business or pleasure the Connacht is the hotel of 1st choice for me.

    Lovely stay, staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent! Gym was also very well equipped.

    Found the bedrooms to be very noisy there were children left to run around the corridors very late in to the night, other guests were very loud when returning to their rooms late at night or early morning. The room next to ours I dont think had any carpet in there so all noises from the room travelled. Had a very poor sleep time whilst there. Did feel the rooms were very dated and could do with s bit of spruce especially the bathrooms. The bar area was good and the food and service was good. On checkout we were not even asked if everything had been ok with our stay - on the whole very disappointed with the hotel.

While our Team make every effort to monitor the bedroom corridors throughout the day and into the night to limit the impact of noise, we will always address noise complaints received from our Guests immediately. Had we known during your visit of your situation, I am confidence we could have offered you an alternative room, if that was acceptable to you and this I am sure would have positively enhanced the quality of your sleep and your stay. We are in the middle of a refurbishment progamme which we know will impact positively on our Guests overall experience. It is disappointing to hear that you were not asked if you enjoyed your visit, as this is part of our check out procedure. I have spoken to our Head Receptionist to ensure that all Guests receive consistent service in this area. However, as I mentioned before, we are always very grateful to speak in person to our Guests during their stay, so that we can assist them and help make their stay more enjoyable for them. I hope that you will offer us the opportunity to demonstrate to you the usually very positive stays enjoyed by our Guests as you will see for the feedback we receive on all platforms.
