AUTUMN GARDEN PLANT FAIR 2023

JURASSIC PARK 30TH ANNIVERSARY SCREENING

September 1-3

Revisit this classic blockbuster hit with the 30th anniversary screening of Steven Spielberg’s classic big-screen family movie. Or introduce your little ones to a movie you loved when it first came out in 1993. A pulsating thrill-ride from one minute to the next, and you can see it all at Pálás Cinema. 

TOM CREAN: ANTARCTIC EXPLORER AT THE TOWN HALL THEATRE

September 6-7

The Town Hall Theatre is the place to be on September 6th and 7th for this production about Tom Crean, one of the greatest explorers there has ever been. Crean is well renowned as one of Ireland’s most amazing heroes, not least for his incredible feat of endurance to rescue his fellow travellers during the Terra Nova expedition. A must-see show! 

GALWAY RACES

September 11-12

The Galway Races is back for a couple of sessions on September 11th and 12th. The Autumn National Hunt Race Day and Autumn Flat Race Day are sure to promise plenty of incredible excitement as Ballybrit Racecourse comes alive just a few short weeks after the fantastic Summer Festival drew to a close. Giddy up!

CLIFDEN ARTS FESTIVAL

September 13-24

The Clifden Arts Festival will take centre stage for 12 days between September 13th and 24th. Visual arts, musical performances, and educational sessions will all play a huge part in this mammoth celebration of artists, art, and the joy they bring to so many people. NITRO STUNTSHOW 2023

September 17

Are you ready for a high-octane show that’s sure to have you on the edge of your seat? The Nitro Stuntshow 2023 will see professional drivers perform incredible stunts that are sure to have you wide-eyed in disbelief. This jaw-dropping show certainly deserves a look – and you’ll be amazed at all the feats of skill that are pulled off.

GALWAY CULTURE NIGHT 2023

September 22

Galway Culture Night is always a fantastic way to take in a few shows, enjoy an intimate session, or engage with a theatrical performance – and this year’s edition promises to be no different. You’ll be wowed by the entertainment, wall of colour, and orchestra of sound across the many events. GALWAY OYSTER FESTIVAL 2023

September 22-24

The Galway Oyster festival 2023 takes centre stage fom September 22 to September 24, and it promises to be a fantastic event, as always. This annual festival is a smorgasbord of flavour, culture, and more - providing a whirlwind of great cuisine that represents the West of Ireland. GALWAY DOCKLANDS FESTIVAL

September 29-October 1

This three-day festival is sure to make a splash, so make sure you take it all in on whichever day you like – or attend the whole event to really go all out.
