New Years Resolutions at the connacht
A very happy new year to all of our customers and friends, we hope that you had a lovely festive season and like us are excited about the coming year. One of the most popular new years resolutions every year is to get fit and our 24 hour gym Active 24 Fitness and Leisure is the perfect place to keep that resolution. When you pay up front for annual membership you get two months for free or one free month if you pay for six months of membership. Our team of trainers are here to guide you and support you every step of the way.

leisureLand Dream Wedding Exhibition
Congrats to everybody that got engaged over the Christmas, it’s an exciting time and if you have any queries or questions about organising a wedding you should head to Leisureland Galway this Saturday 6th or Sunday 7th of January from 12pm to 6pm on both days. Browse over 70 stands of top class exhibitors who are all more than happy to offer support and advice to help you plan your perfect wedding. There will be three fashion shows daily so that you can see the latest trends in wedding dresses and groom’s suits.
This week in Connacht Rugby
This Saturday see’s Connacht Rugby make the short trip down the road to Limerick to take on Munster in the last of the provincial derbies in the PRO14 festive schedule. Connacht had a wonderful win against Ulster at home 44-16 and then we’re narrowly defeated in an epic battle in the RDS on New Year’s Day against Leinster. The Connacht team were camped on the opposition line for the final eight minutes but couldn’t break down a resolute blue wall. Connacht will be hoping for more success against Muster who have had a disastrous festive run out.
The game kicks off at 7:45pm and if you can’t make it, we will be showing the game live here in Bar Solo.
