The Connacht Hotel which has been recently refurbished with an eclectic, elegant interior, and boasts a central location just over 2 km from Eyre Square Galway coupled with Breaffy House Resort, located in the heart of County Mayo - the perfect destination if you are looking for a well-deserved and relaxing break! Set on 101 acres, the resort boasts panoramic views and magnificent grounds for rambling. 

This fantastic trip includes a morning trip along Galway Bay to the fishing village of Kinvarra, where you will visit Dungaire Castle. Guests will then continue onto The Burren where you will discover lots of ancient monuments and remarkable native Irish Flora. The village of Doolin awaits for a leisurly lunch before visiting the breath-taking Cliffs of Moher

Day three begins with a not too early tour of Connemara described by Oscar Wilde as a place of "savage beauty" with its rivers, lakes, bogland and mountains. You will also visit the iconic Kylemore Abbey and the Connemara National Park. Later on will then travel to the village of Leenane where we will have a brief stop at The Sheep and Wool Centre. From here guests will drive to Castlebar travelling along part of the Wild Atlantic Way via Westport with spectacular views of Croagh Patrick. The evening concludes with a check into Breaffy House Resort where enjoy dinner in the Mulberry Restaurant.

Day four includes an option but very enjoyable tour of Achill Island. Travelling first to Newport, home of Grainne Uaile "Grace O'Malley" better known to many as The Pirate Queen of Ireland.
From here we travel along The Wild Atlantic Way to Achill Island. On entering the Island, we cross the Michael Davitt Bridge which separates the Island from the mainland. Stopping briefly at Bleanaskill cemetery where your guide will tell the sad and tragic story of all the people buried here who lost their loves while travelling by boat to Scotland during the potato picking season in the 18th century. You will then travel the famous Atlantic drive with spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and Clew Bay where it is said that there is an island for each day of the year. From here we travel onto Keel village stopping for refreshments*. After which you continue on the coast road to Keem Bay, a rural and sheltered beach surrounded by cliffs. It can be found at the head of a valley between cliffs of Benmore to the west and Croaghan Mountain on the east on Achill Island.
