I can’t believe its almost the last week of March already, hopefully the weather is a bit better in April.
Connacht hotel event
We are so excited to be hosting an absolutely superb event here in the Connacht Hotel next Friday the 7TH of April. It’s a questions and answers session with Republic of Ireland legends hosted by another legend Hector O hEochagain. Hector will be chatting to Ray Houghton, Ronnie Whealan, Tony Cascarino and Andy Townsend about stories from their careers and getting their thoughts on the current Irish squad. With 284 caps between them they’ll be no shortage of stories and craic on the night. Tickets are €10 each and available on reception in the Connacht at the moment.
kids coaching session
The Easter Holidays are coming soon and we have something pretty amazing for young rugby fans. On April 12th from 10am until 12pm children are invited to take part in a coaching session with Connacht Rugby players and coaching staff. This is available to guests who avail of the April Sports Offer, two night bed and breakfast one dinner for two adults and two children. Find more information and book your stay here!
Connacht Rugby
Connacht continue their travels as the head to Italy to face Zebre. The weather has played a huge factor inclashes between the sides. This is the refixed game from the start of the season that was ababdonded at half time when Connacht were losing heavily. The most recent clash between the sides was played in an absolute mudbath in the Sportsground, with Connacht evenutally coming out on top in horrendus conditions. Let’s hope for a better day this time around.
